HEMORRHOIDS. Piles. Call it what you want. Pain!! Yet another badge of Motherhood……
Nobody mentioned it pre-birth. No mums told me to be prepared for it. No midwife advance notice of what might happen back there. Whooooooah! And that co-codamol pain relief they give you post birth tends to bind things up, not good. Not at all. Worse than the birth experience. Well. Maybe not.
And when I’ve brought this subject up with other women, its common, they too have had this awful post birth experience, but just don’t talk about it.
And mine have NEVER disappeared, and we’re now 22 months after birth. They’re not painful, they’re just . . . there. Hmm, I wonder if i should be Googling to see if this is odd?
Well……my first little visitor back there appeared when i was just about to give birth to my first son, which is now 8 years ago…(eeek) and I am sorry to say that things have never been quite the same in that department ever since…………..however, this may be just my bad luck, and I hope for you its just a temporary matter……..x
